In commemoration of Area Stage's 35th Anniversary, the critically acclaimed company in a new partnership with Loxen Productions, has announced the 90-minute immersive theatrical experience of Disney's The Little Mermaid.

 The Muny has announced its full cast, design and production teams for Disney's The Little Mermaid, the third show in the theatre's 106th season, which runs July 8-16 on the James S. McDonnell Stage in Forest Park.

The Historic Royal Theatre will present the Young Players in their “divine” production of Sister Act JR. This production, made possible by our sponsorship with Everett Buick GMC, will open July 2024. The musical tells the story of Deloris Van Cartier, a high-spirited aspiring singer, who witnesses a murder and is forced to enter the Queen of Angels convent under witness protection.

New details have been released for Netflix's Spellbound, the animated musical by Alan Menken and Glenn Slater and featuring the voices of Rachel Zegler and Nathan Lane. SISTER ACT THE MUSICAL will release a live cast album of the show, which will be recorded over three nights, on Monday 27, Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 May at the Dominion Theatre. The album will be released later this year.
