In celebration of her critically acclaimed Las Vegas residency show, Carrie Underwood will showcase her highly successful career as a worldwide superstar in a concert special coming exclusively to Hulu in January. 

According to a new interview, Daisy Edgar-Jones will no longer be playing Carole King in the upcoming film adaptation of Beautiful: The Carol King Musical. She was originally announced to play the role in December of 2022.

Directed by Mark Herzog and Spielberg collaborator Laurent Bouzereau, the hour-long documentary spotlights the true stories of several characters and real-life airmen featured in “Masters of the Air” including John Egan (played by Callum Turner), Frank Murphy (played by Jonas Moore), and more. Olivier Award-winner and Tony Award-nominee Anthony Boyle (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) will join the cast of Long Day's Journey into Night, playing the role of Edmund Tyrone. He will be replacing Alex Lawther who has reluctantly withdrawn from the production due to a scheduling conflict.

The upcoming film will be directed by Academy Award nominee Lisa Cholodenko, who co-wrote the screenplay for the film with Stuart Blumberg. Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman will serve as producers with the stage musical's producer, Paul Blake.

Broadway in Fort Lauderdale has announced the Tony & Grammy Award-winning Broadway hit Beautiful—The Carole King Musical, about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter, will make its Fort Lauderdale return to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts for five performances June 17-19, 2022.

The Carole King Musical will return to the Paramount Theatre for three performances only – on Friday, April 8 (8pm) and Saturday, April 9 (2pm and 8pm). The two previously scheduled performances on Sunday, April 10 (1pm and 6:30 pm) have been cancelled due to the limited availability of transportation to ship the set to the tour’s next engagement.
