The Gloucester Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Rebecca Bradshaw and Managing Director Christopher Griffith, will close out its celebratory 45th season in the theater's first-of-its-kind collaboration with Teatro Chelsea, with the regional premiere of 'THE HOMBRES' by Tony Meneses and directed by Armando Rivera.

The third annual In the Works~In the Woods at Forestburgh Playhouse, (under the leadership of Franklin Trapp, Producing Artistic Director for the Forestburgh Playhouse and Broadway veteran Matt Lenz, Festival Artistic Director and Director of Creative Development), will be held September 8 through 10.

Sarasota Opera has announced the lineup for the 2023 Summer Classic Movies at the Opera House. The Classic Movies at the Opera House series featuring many beloved movies will open on Friday, May 12th at 7:30 pm with 2001: A Space Odyssey. Throughout the summer and into the fall, featured movies will include films ranging from the 1930's to the 1990's. Tickets will be $12 and will go on sale starting on Wednesday, May 3. Olivia Newton-John, best known to theatre fans as the star of the iconic 1978 film adaptation of the musical, Grease, has passed away at the age of 73. 

Cindy Williams will take the A.J. Fletcher Opera Theater stage at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in her one-woman show, Me, Myself & Shirley for a limited two-show engagement April 16, 2022.
