Trustees of the Laurents / Hatcher Foundation revealed that Feast!, a new play by acclaimed playwright Calamity West, has been named the recipient of the 2026 Laurents / Hatcher Award.

George Street Playhouse's 2026 Gala Benefit will honor Emily Mann, playwright and former Artistic Director of McCarter Theatre Center, with the Arthur Laurents Award for Distinguished Artistic Achievement.

The Broadway revival of Gypsy, starring Audra McDonald and directed by George C. Wolfe, will play its final performance on August 17, 2025, at the Majestic Theatre. The award-winning production, praised for its historic casting and five Tony nominations, will have played 28 previews and 269 regular performances.

The Olivier Award-nominated play, 'The Shark is Broken,' is now being performed at George Street Playhouse (GSP) in the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center (NBPAC). It will be on stage for a limited run through Sunday, May 18 and audiences love it.
