Wise Children has announced the full cast for the world première of Emma Rice’s adaptation of Alfred Hitchcock’s North by Northwest. Learn more about the cast here!

Wise Children Artistic Director Emma Rice's brand-new adaptation of Alfred Hitchcock's North by Northwest will be visiting Alexandra Palace Theatre as part of its UK tour in 2025. 

With their co-production with the RSC of The Buddha of Suburbia about to transfer to the Barbican, Wise Children has announced their forthcoming season of work, which includes Artistic Director Emma Rice's brand-new adaptation of Alfred Hitchcock's North by Northwest, which she also directs. Wise Children have announced the full cast for the world première of Hanif Kureishi’s The Buddha of Suburbia – adapted by the company’s Artistic Director Emma Rice, with Kureishi.

FULL CASTING ANNOUNCED FOR WISE CHILDREN’S NEW CO-PRODUCTION OF BLUE BEARD - WRITTEN AND DIRECTED BY EMMA RICE. The full cast for the world premiere of Blue Beard, written and directed by Emma Rice, includes Isabel Adomakoh Young, Stu Barker, Mirabelle Gremaud, Stephanie Hockley, Patrycja Kujawska, Adam Mirsky, Katy Owen, and Tristan Sturrock. The production opens at Theatre Royal Bath on 8 February and embarks on a UK tour.

The King's Theatre, Glasgow has announced that Jennifer Ellison is joining The Official Take That Musical GREATEST DAYS, with a book by award-winning playwright Tim Firth and produced by Adam Kenwright for Kindred Partners. Jennifer will join the tour in the role of Rachel from Monday 21 August at The King's Theatre, Glasgow. GREATEST DAYS will run at The King's Theatre, Glasgow from Monday 21 to Saturday 26 August 2023.

Artistic Director of Wise Children, Emma Rice has announced the world première of her adaptation of Blue Beard, which she also directs. Blue Beard, a co-production with Birmingham Rep, HOME Manchester, Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh and York Theatre Royal opens at Theatre Royal Bath on 8 February, with previews from 2nd, and runs until 10 February.
