Cassie Bradley and Barney White have been announced as the cast of Nick Payne’s One Day When We Were Young, presented by Greenwich Theatre in association with Park Theatre. 

Writing stage reviews is an adventure I have yet to tire of. From the Tony Award-nominated writer of Constellations and BBC/Netflix drama Wanderlust, Nick Payne’s timeless play One Day When We Were Young is returning to the stage over a decade since it was first performed. 

Exploring how the media shapes politics and public discourse on immigration, human rights and extremism, this new drama updates Sophocles' Greek tragedy and asks the audience to vote on the narrative.

Park Theatre will welcome two new trustees to their board: Pia Richards Glockner has been recruited from the venue's Youth Board, a Creative Engagement initiative, and Jaqueline Hurt is at partner at Sheridans. Both are local to the venue; Pia grew up in Finsbury Park and Jaqueline lives in Highbury.

Chris Harper Productions has appointed Tom O’Connell as producer. Chris Harper is a Tony and Olivier Award-winning producer who has produced some of the most acclaimed theatrical successes of the last 15 years.   

Park Theatre has announced its Park200 Christmas show will be Cyrano by Virginia Gay, which plays at the Traverse Theatre as part of Edinburgh Festival Fringe before coming to the north London venue.

Brendan Fraser and Andrew Scott are set to star in Pressure, an upcoming screen adaptation of David Haig's play Pressure. Fraser and Scott will play Supreme Commander Dwight D. Eisenhower and Captain James Stagg in the D-Day drama, respectively, as they navigate the Normandy invasion of June 6, 1944. The movie is directed by Anthony Maras, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Haig. 

Amanda Abbington will star in a theatrical memoir by New York Times best-selling author Tawni O'Dell, directed by Park Theatre's Artistic Director Jez Bond.
