Sadler's Wells has announced programming across its four theatres for 2025, including 14 UK premieres, 3 world premieres. The international programme features artists from 13 countries across 4 continents.  

The Royal Ballet season continues with its first modern bill - Encounters: Four contemporary ballets. For some, like me, the four works presented are all new, but in actuality only two of the four are premières. And one of those is in fact a development of an existing (2022) pas de deux into a bigger scale work.

The National Ballet of Canada has announced its first European tour since the pandemic, with performances scheduled in London and Paris in October 2024.

Sadler's Wells, the Pina Bausch Foundation and Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch have announced Kontakthof – Echoes of '78 – a new encounter with Bausch's seminal work, conceived and directed by Meryl Tankard, who was one of the main characters in 1978. Tankard will reunite with other members from the original cast for this unique production, which receives its world premiere at the Opernhaus Wuppertal, Germany in November 2024.
