American Repertory Ballet has continued their successful season with the outstanding world premiere of Ethan Stiefel's Spirit of the Highlands that was presented from Friday, March 7 through Sunday, March 9, at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center.

State Theatre New Jersey will present The Nutcracker with American Repertory Ballet for five performances on Friday, December 20 at 7:30pm; Saturday, December 21 at 2pm and 7pm; and Sunday, December 22 at 1pm and 5pm.  

A holiday tradition for sixty years, American Repertory Ballet’s THE NUTCRACKER is one of the longest running productions in the nation and a treat for all ages, holding a special place in the hearts of both new and longtime patrons.

On Monday November 6th, 2023, the Stage Managers’ Association (SMA) will present its annual Del Hughes Awards for Lifetime Achievement in the Art of Stage Management, at the National Opera Center’s Marc A. Scorca Hall in NYC. 

George Street Playhouse presents THE PIANIST, a play with music, based on the memoir “The Pianist” by Wladyslaw Szpilman and directed and adapted for the stage by Emily Mann (Broadway: A Streetcar Named Desire, Having Our Say, Anna and the Tropics). THE PIANIST begins previews on September 26, with an official opening night set for September 29. The play runs through October 22.

On Monday October 25th, 2021, the Stage Managers' Association will virtually present its annual Del Hughes Awards for Lifetime Achievement in the Art of Stage Management, live from NYC and Las Vegas. 

The event will begin March 25 at 7 PM with La Femme's executive director Jean Lichty, “In Conversation” with Tony-nominee and Theater Hall of Fame-inductee, director Emily Mann and five-time Emmy nominee and Tony Award winner Phylicia Rashad. Iguana will stream through March 28, 2021.

La Femme Theatre Productions' presentation of Tennessee Williams's The Night of the Iguana, directed by Emily Mann, was initially streamed this past December and raised nearly $17K for The Actors Fund. La Femme will present an Encore streaming of The Night of the Iguana in celebration of Tennessee Williams's 110th birthday on March 26, 2021.

NewArts, a nonprofit organization based in Newtown, CT that was created in response to the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy will present A (Virtual) Christmas Carol, streaming online from December 23-27.
