Cabaret performer Bob Simonello (FLIGHT, ROLLIN’ a 7, Barry Levitt’s CLASS ACTS, Carly Ozard’s) is bringing his cabaret show ON MY WAY to the Green Room 42 on Sunday April 28th at 7 pm. The show explores his journey through pivotal moments in gay history from the 60s to the present and his quest to find the elusive Mr. Right.

Today, most of us are accepting of one another without question about our differences. We'd like to not remember a time when it took convincing for people to even realize they may be more similar than they thought by outside judgment and stubbornness. Visiting Mr. Green addresses this topic in a straight forward way with characters that have the typical behaviors you'd assume they would have. Mr. Green, a grouchy New Yorker in his 80's, has just suffered the death of his wife. This event only intensifies his testy attitude.

A celebration of the life and Broadway legacy of Marin Mazzie took place at the Gershwin Theatre yesterday, October 25th, for friends, family and the theatre community. There were performances and testimonials from loved ones, including her husband, Jason Danieley, to pay tribute to the three-time Tony Award nominee who passed away on September 13th after a three-year tenacious struggle with ovarian cancer.

The Guthrie Theater has announced casting for the theater's summer musical, Sunday in the Park with George. Leading the cast will be Randy Harrison (Guthrie: The Glass Menagerie) who will play French pointillist painter George Seurat, a role originated by Mandy Patinkin in the 1984 Broadway production, and Erin Mackey (Guthrie: South Pacific) who will play Seurat's lover and model, Dot, a role originated by Bernadette Peters.
