The New Jersey Performing Arts Center has announced the complete line-up for the Moody Jazz Festival, running from November 7-24. The festival will feature a variety of performances from renowned jazz artists.

Ron Himes’ amazing Black Rep company is opening its 48th season with a piece of pure delight.  It’s called Blues in the Night, and it’s a glorious musical revue of the history of that genre.  And such a vastly diverse history that is, with vaudeville songs, deeply moving songs of love and loss, lush and lonely excursions into real jazz, and comic novelty songs that get seriously, hilariously bawdy. 

She was a woman of resilience and a very strong personality who fought for everything that she had! She is this woman who just came through a lot but loved her music and loved her family. She was resilient beyond belief and could live to see the flowers given to her. She's a whole lot of woman!
