Celebrate pride with the team of “Open” the play. On June 25th, 7:30-8:30 PM, the Drama Book Shop will present, in association with Jay Michaels Global Communications, “OPEN” a conversation with award-winning playwright Crystal Skillman. This author's event will feature a talkback, book signing, and live podcast recording.

Kumu Kahua Theatre reveals its new season featuring local plays that explore themes of identity, pride, and self-discovery, highlighting the richness of Hawaiian culture and stories.

Today’s subject Abigail Bengson is one half of the singer/songwriter folk song performing group known as The Bengsons. Their songs and music are currently helping to underscore and tell the story for Jeff Augustine’s play Where The Mountain Meets the Sea. The show is currently running in Signature Theatre’s ARK space through July 7th.

The new musical Swept Away, with music by The Avett Brothers, has found its Broadway home and set a first performance date! It was previously announced that the production would open this fall. Now, it has been announced via a story on the show's official Instagram account, that performances will begin on October 29 at the Longacre Theatre.
