A nation in need, an unsuitable king, banishments, murders, attempted coups. Richard II has it all and so does Jonathan Bailey. He might be dancing through Hollywood and hanging out with the biggest celebs, but he proves that he’s still one of us with this triumphant return to the stage.

London Theatre Company has released photos of Richard II. Starring Jonathan Bailey and directed by Nicholas Hytner, this fresh take on Shakespeare’s subtle, caustic and powerful play is currently playing the Bridge Theatre until 10 May 2025.

The BFG will be presented by the Royal Shakespeare Company. It has been adapted by Tom Wells and will be directed by RSC Co-Artistic Director Daniel Evans in his directorial debut for the company.

Riverside Studios today announces a screening of the British World War II drama Summerland and a live Q&A with award-winning director and writer Jessica Swale following its nationwide release on 31 July 2020.

The Chalk Garden takes place in the summer of 1955 in the garden room of Mrs St Maugham's house in a seaside village in Sussex. It was written by Enid Bagnold (author of National Velvet) while she was living in Rottingdean.

According to reports from the Hartford Courant, Tony nominee Marin Ireland will receive the 2010 Hartt Alumni Award from the Hartt School of the University of Harford in Connecticut. The award will be presented to her during the Commencement ceremonies on Sunday, May 16.
