Carter has worked extensively in the U.K. and Ireland at the following: Old Vic, Royal Shakespeare Company, Royal National Theatre, Royal Court, Almeida, Lyric Hammersmith, and Abbey Theatre, Dublin. London, West End: Birdsong director Trevor Nunn, The Malcontent, Island Princess, Eastward Ho!, and The Roman Actor (RSC/Gielgud), Macbeth (Queens), I Can’t Sing! (The London Palladium). TV: Best known for Thomas Andrews in “Titanic: Blood and Steel” opposite Derek Jacobi (Starz/Amazon), Walter Winchell in HBO’s “The Plot Against America,” “Luke Cage” (Marvel), “Turn” (AMC), “Sons of Liberty” (History), and as series regular for various BBC. Film: Festival (Pathe), Up on the Roof (Film 4).
