New Federal Theatre In Association With ASP Presents A Staged-Reading Of P.J. Gibson's LONG TIME SINCE YESTERDAY

New Federal Theatre (NFT), Elizabeth Van Dyke, Producing Artistic Director, in association with ASP/Castillo Theatre, will present a reading oof Long Time Since by P.J. Musical Theatre Factory Announces NEW WAVE GATHERING: A Celebrating Women, Trans And Gender Non Conforming Artists

To celebrate the work of MTF's Women, Trans and GNC Roundtable on Monday June 3rd, Musical Theatre Factory will present a one night only evening of new musical theatre works by and for women, trans and gender non conforming people. These invigorating, witty, compelling, complex and poignant songs explore a range of stories told by underrepresented voices- songs about life, love, coming-of-age, finding your power, and just plain ol' humanity! Curated by Molly Marinik, Maybe Burke and Janelle Lawrence A New Wave Gathering will take place at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette St) on Monday, June 3 at 9.30pm. Tickets are $25 and are available at mtf.nyc/events.
2018-19 Winners Of Jonathan Larson Grants Announced, Will Perform At Adelphi Performing Arts Center

The American Theatre Wing has announced recipients of the prestigious 2019 Jonathan Larson '82 Grants: Julia Gytri & Avi Amon (book, music and lyrics), Emily Gardner Xu Hall (book, music and lyrics), Andy Roninson (music and lyrics) and Ben Wexler (music and lyrics) All will receive grants of $10,000, as well as additional support in the form of residences, concerts and recording grants, valued at over $50,000.

The American Theatre Wing just presented the 2018 Jonathan Larson® Grants recipients are Jay Adana (music and lyrics), Andrew R. Butler & Andrew Farmer (music, lyrics, and book), Emily Kaczmarek& Zoe Sarnak (music, lyrics, and book), and Mark Sonnenblick(music and lyrics). Four prestigious, unrestricted grants of $10,000 each, as well as additional support in the form of residencies, concerts, and recording grants, totaling over $48,000 were given at a private event at the WNYC Greene Space.
