Pan Asian Repertory Theatre, continuing their educational initiative, will present a reading of the new play, My Man Kono by Philip W. Chung. Directed by Jeff Liu, the 8-member cast will feature David Dean Bottrell, Katie Lee Hill, Lily Holleman, David Lee Huynh, Zach Lusk, Jonathan Medina, Ron Nakahara, and Armin Shimerman.

Pan Asian Repertory Theatre, in collaboration with Ogden Union Station, Utah Valley University, and Salt Lake City Public Library, as part of the 150th Golden Spike Anniversary Celebration, presents Citizen Wong, a new play by Richard Chang, inspired by true events and real people. Citizen Wong is sponsored by the Lawrence T. & Janet T. Dee Foundation, with special support from Lucy & Victor Kan.

He's arrogant, cocky, virginal and he doesn't know it yet, but he's going to have a thing for mom in Jean Cocteau's witty and urbane retelling of the Oedipus story,The Infernal Machine. In this magical modernization of the Greek tragedy the enigmatic Sphinx is a bored young girl who slips him an answer to that tricky riddle because well,... she's bored and he's handsome and a welcome diversion.

Phoenix Theatre Ensemble announces that Bertolt Brecht's political farce, The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, will lead off the company's 13th season on October 20 and will play for 21 performances through November 13, 2016 at The Wild Project in the East Village. Previews will start October 20 with an official opening Saturday, October 22 @ 8PM.
