Artistic Director of Print Room at the Coronet Anda Winters has curated a month-long festival representing the theatre's diverse, multi-artform programme and made up almost entirely of UK premieres. Coronet International Festival runs over 35 days and spans theatre, art, circus, dance, poetry and installations from around the globe. Featuring artists from 12 countries, the festival presents a fusion of international art works, crossing borders and genres and defying expectations.

The Schimmel Center at Pace University presents two performances of Immortal Chi: A Warrior's Quest for Balance-a fusion of Chinese martial arts and acrobatics, accompanied by an all-female percussion ensemble-on Friday, May 5 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m. The production, directed by Erick Villeneuve (Era, Intersection of Time, Kaleido, Eqi), is full of stunts, traditional weaponry, and feats of human endurance, and tells the story about a Tai-Chi master and his challenge to re-gain his inner energy and life force, casting a new perspective on Chinese theatrical history.

Canada-China Cultural Development Association (CCCDA) presents Beijing People's Art Theatre in Lao She'sTeahouse - an epic drama of Chinese culture, history, and politics, November 10 & 11 at The Centre in Vancouver for Performing Arts (777 Homer Street). The signature work from one of China's national theatre companies, the play follows 50-years of turbulent history - from the fall of the Qing Empire in 1898 to the defeat of the Kuomingtang in 1948 - as witnessed within the walls of a Beijing teahouse.

The schedule for this summer's Lincoln Center Out of Doors festival, which runs from July 20 to August 10, was announced today by Bill Bragin, Lincoln Center's Director of Public Programming. Nearly 100 free performances will take place across the plazas of Lincoln Center during three weeks. A special Memorial Concert for Pete and Toshi Seeger on July 20 will be followed by the official opening concert on July 23 with Larry Harlow's Hommy: A Latin Opera, the landmark work's first performance in 40 years. The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music's (CCM) Chamber Choir and Philharmonia Chamber Orchestra join forces to perform a unique staged production of Johann Sebastian Bach's visceral rendering of the St. John Passion as the next installment in CCM's 2013-14 Prestige Concert Series. The monumental work will be presented at 5 p.m. today, Nov. 3, at Christ Church Cathedral under the direction of Earl Rivers, staged by Omer Ben-Seadia, and in conjunction with the Constella Festival of Music and Fine Arts.
