Casting Announced For STC's THE BEAUTY QUEEN OF LEENANE
Yael Stone and Noni Hazlehurst have joined the cast of Sydney Theatre Company's The Beauty Queen of Leenane, which will play at the Roslyn Packer Theatre this November. Yael will play Maureen Folan and Noni will play her mother Mag in the ink-black Martin McDonagh comedy, directed by STC Associate Director Paige Rattray. They join a cast which also includes Shiv Palekar and Toby Schmitz.

Beloved Australian supergroup Seeker Lover Keeper – Sarah Blasko, Sally Seltmann and Holly Throsby – today reveal they'll release their highly anticipated second full-length album, Wild Seeds, on Friday 9 August via Liberation Records. On Friday, May 25, Amazon will premiere all six episodes of original mystery drama series Picnic at Hanging Rock, starring Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2), on Prime Video in the US. Based on Joan Lindsay's iconic Australian novel of the same name, Picnic at Hanging Rock is a limited series surrounding the mysterious disappearances of three schoolgirls and one teacher on Valentine's Day in 1900. The series revolves around the subsequent investigation and the event's far-reaching impact on the students, families and staff at Appleyard College, and on the nearby township. The series has already received critical acclaim following its recent premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival and has been selected for the upcoming Tribeca Film Festival this month.
Belvoir Announces Inaugural 25A Downstairs Independent Season

At the annual Philip Parsons Memorial Lecture at Belvoir St Theatre last night, presented by Nick Schlieper, Artistic Director Eamon Flack announced a major new independent theatre program - 25A - which reopens the Downstairs Theatre to independent artists, the inaugural Andrew Cameron Fellowship for an emerging artistic leader, and the launch of a discount ticket program for artists for 2018.
