TV: Vanessa Williams, William Spencer Reilly & Ken Jennings Preview the Season Ahead at the Sheen Center
On July 30, I had a great time backstage at the Sheen Center, interviewing Grammy and Tony-nominated singer/actress Vanessa Williams, Executive Director of The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture William Spencer Reilly and Drama Desk Award-winner Ken Jennings (Broadway's Sweeney Todd, Side Show, Grand Hotel) about the Center's exciting lineup for their fall season. This was followed by a sneak peek at some of the events, introduced by Williams to an audience of supporters.

After an acclaimed run in London's West End, the Sheen Center for Thought & Culture presents the American premiere production of Stephen Unwin's new play, All Our Children. Now playing in a limited five-week engagement through May 12 at The Sheen Center (18 Bleecker Street at the corner of Elizabeth Street, NYC) in the Black Box Theater. The official opening is Sunday, April 14 at 3PM.

Screening Of A New Documentary THE SEARCH FOR THE LAST SUPPER Comes to The Sheen Center
A special screening of the documentary, 'The Search for the Last Supper,' about the restoration of a rare oil to canvas painting of the world famous portrait, will take place on Wednesday, March 14th at 6:30pm at The Sheen Center for Thought and Culture - 18 Bleecker Street, NYC (www.SheenCenter.org) it was announced today by Executive Director William Spencer Reilly. Following the screening, there will be a talkback with documentary filmmakers and art historians Prof. Jean-Pierre Isbouts and Dr. Christopher Brown and a reception sponsored by The General Delegation of the Government of Flanders to the USA.

Cast Set for Tectonic Theater Project's UNCOMMON SENSE, A New Play About Living with Autism
Tectonic Theater Project has announced casting for the New York premiere of Uncommon Sense, a new play about living on the autism spectrum, which the Sheen Center for Thought & Culture presents for five weeks only, October 25 to November 26, at The Sheen Center's Loreto Theater (18 Bleecker Street, NYC). The work is written by Anushka Paris-Carter and Andy Paris and directed by Andy Paris under the artistic direction of Tectonic's founder, Moises Kaufman.
