The Atlanta Musical Theatre Festival Announces 2018 Selections
The Atlanta Musical Theatre Festival is proud to announce the selections for the Third Annual Atlanta Musical Theatre Festival (AMTF), which will be held August 6th, 7th, 13th & 14th, 2018 at Out Front Theatre. The AMTF will be four nights of original musical theatre performances by local artists, and written by authors from around the country. Performances will be open to the artistic community, the public, and the press. Individual Tickets are only $12-$17 (not including taxes and fees), and full festival passes are available for $50 at www.outfronttheatre.com. All four productions will be performed at Out Front Theatre, at 8pm on Monday the 6th, Tuesday the 7th, Monday the 13th and Tuesday the 14th.

Dialogue With Three Chords Goes On Tour To NoHo Venue
Dialogue with Three Chords (D3C) lost their home of nearly 7 years last month when Mr. Dennehy's in Greenwich Village closed their doors. The group has decided to take their monthly readings on tour for the rest of their seventh season of indie theatre, landing at NoHo at Von Bar for their performance on Thursday, April 19. The show starts at 7:30PM on 3 Bleecker Street, New York, NY 10012. Admission is free with a $5 suggested donation.
Workhaus Collective to Close Doors
Since 2006, the Workhaus Collective provided Minneapolis-based, nationally-emerging playwrights the opportunity to lead the productions of their most innovative, commercially-challenging ideas. In 10 years, the Collective produced 25 new, critically acclaimed plays, many of which continued on to other theaters around the world. After its final production of 2016, the Workhaus Collective is voluntarily ceasing operation without debt.

Dialogue with Three Chords teams up with the Soho Gallery for Digital Art in New York City to present theatre inspired by comic books on May 8 as the final installment of the Soho Gallery's five week Comic Book Round Table (CBRT) series of events. "The Last Days of the Brave and Bold" from playwright Stephen Gracia stages an imagined conversation between William Marston, creator of the DC Comics heroine Wonder Woman and Dr. Frederic Wertham, champion of comic book censorship. The short play is directed by Michael LoPorto as is the curtain raiser monologue, "A People's History of Super Heroism." The audience is invited to attend a party to celebrate the CBRT series that will follow the show, along with panelists from previous CBRT events. The performance starts at 7pm at the Soho Gallery for Digital Art located at 138 Sullivan Street in Manhattan. Featuring six productions in MTC's intimate 231-seat Boyer Theatre, the season includes the regional premiere of David Lindsay-Abaire's national sensation Good People; a revival of August Wilson's Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play Fences;world premieres of I and You by Bay Area-based playwright Lauren Gunderson and Lasso of Truth, which MTC commissioned from Carson Kreitzer with the support of the National New Play Network; the west coast premiere of Philip Dawkins' "whimsical beyond all imagining" Failure: A Love Story; and a unique holiday production of Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol by Tom Mula.
