Pasadena Symphony will launch a bold new era with the announcement of its 2024-25 season, the first to be programmed and led by recently appointed Music Director Brett Mitchell, who is only the sixth conductor to helm the orchestra since it was founded in 1928.

Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival marks its 40th summer season in 2023. Long Island's longest-running classical music festival celebrates this milestone with 11 concerts, July 16 – August 13, that showcase a theme of “Beethoven as Innovator” alongside six of the festival's favorite works from four decades of commissioning new music: pieces by Elizabeth Brown, Kenji Bunch, Eric Ewazen, Bruce MacCombie, Kevin Puts, and Ned Rorem.

Conductor Rossen Milanov to Return to Symphony in C for March Concert
Symphony in C will welcome back former Music Director Rossen Milanov on March 12th at 8 pm. The concert at Rutgers University-Camden’s Gordon Theater Maestro Milanov led Symphony in C from 2000-2015, and currently serves as Music Director of the Columbus and Princeton Symphonies, among others. The brilliant young violinist William Hagen, who thrilled the audience in 2018 with his stunning performance of Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, returns to perform Sibelius’ Violin Concerto, Op. 47 in D minor. The concert closes with Brahms' powerful Symphony No. 1 in C minor Op. 68.

The Orchestra Now Releases New CD 'Piano Protagonists'
The Orchestra Now (TŌN) has announced the March 19 release of Piano Protagonists: Music for Piano and Orchestra, a new CD on Bridge Records. The new recording features three works for piano and orchestra first performed in concerts at the Bard Music Festival with the “powerful technique and exceptional insight” (The Washington Post) of award-winning American pianist Orion Weiss.

Grant Park Music Festival 2018 Season Begins June 13
Chicago's Grant Park Music Festival Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Carlos Kalmar today announced a rich array of programming for the Festival's 2018 season, including a large-scale world premiere commission for orchestra and chorus by the Latvian composer, ?riks E envalds. Kalmar will lead the Grant Park Orchestra, along with Chorus Director Christopher Bell and the Grant Park Chorus, in a ten-week season, taking place from June 13 August 18 at Millennium Park's Jay Pritzker Pavilion and other venues throughout the city.
