BIO

Will Beech (sometimes credited as William Beech) made his professional theatre debut in 2008, when he appeared at the Tony Award®-winning Signature Theatre in the revival of Kander and Ebb's rarely-performed musical The Happy Time, as part of Signature's Kander and Ebb Celebration.

Since then, Will has appeared at Signature in Helen Hayes Award-winning shows like the Broadway-bound premiere of Ace: The New Musical Adventure, and most recently, the concert staging of Stephen Sondheim’s first musical, Saturday Night, as Bobby. In 2009, he created the lead role of Gregory in the Helen Hayes Award-nominated world premiere of Victor Lodato’s play The Bread of Winter at Theater Alliance.

He performed his solo cabaret show, An Evening with Will Beech, at Signature Theatre on Monday, June 4, 2012. The show was directed by Dorothy Neumann, with musical direction by Jon Kalbfleisch and piano accompaniment by Alex Tang. That summer, Will took part in the 2012 Source Festival, playing Robbie in the premiere of Norman Allen's play The House Halfway.

In the fall of 2012, Will took on a new role as a member of Columbia University's Class of 2016, where he is a John Jay Scholar in the Columbia Undergraduate Scholars Program.

In August of 2013, he will appear in Big River as part of the Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma's 50th Anniversary season, in downtown Oklahoma City, OK, at the Civic Center Music Hall.

Will is an Equity Membership Candidate in Actor's Equity Association.
