Irvington Theater To Stream New Play From Brooklyn Playwright And Director Christina Franklin
Christina Franklin has been training and working in New York's theater scene since she was eight years old — starting out in the rehearsal studios of TADA! Youth Theater (whose notable alumni include Kerry Washington and Jordan Peele) and taking her gift for storytelling all the way to Broadway. Irvington Theater will bring Franklin's newest play, Cleanse, to virtual audiences from May 21-23.

One of the longest running Off-Broadway shows Little Shop of Horrors is a Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi, smash-hit musical that has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for decades! The show's music is by master composer Alan Menken whose credits also include Disney's Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Newsies and Aladdin.

Footloose is based off of a story about Ren McCormack moving to a small town where the local government has banned dancing and rock music, and how he leads his classmates around the law and Reverend Shaw Moore to have a real senior prom. The music is by Tom Snow(among others), the lyrics by Dean Pitchford (with additional lyrics by Kenny Loggins), and the book by Pitchford and Walter Bobbie.
