Now this is how you do historical theatre. Eccentrically re-imagined yet alarmingly real, James Fritz's The Flea is masterfully made. The show is a quirky retelling of a forgotten piece of queer British history: in an unlikely chain of events, the secrets of a gay brothel threaten to bring down some of the country’s best-known politicians and royals.

Nuffield Southampton Theatres, Theatr Clwyd and English Touring Theatre today announce casting for their co-production of Tennessee Williams' masterpiece A Streetcar Named Desire. 2017 RTST Sir Peter Hall Director Award winner Chelsea Walker directs Nicole Agada (Woman/Nurse), Will Bliss (Steve), Dexter Flanders (Mitch), Kelly Gough (Blanche), Amber James (Stella), Patrick Knowles (Stanley), Marai Louis (Eunice) and Joe Manjon (Pablo/Doctor/Paperboy). The second production in the inaugural season at NST City, A Streetcar Named Desire opens at Nuffield Southampton Theatres on 28 March with previews from 23 March, running until 31 March. The production will tour the UK with English Touring Theatre ahead of opening at Theatr Clwyd, where it plays from 15 March until 2 June, before returning to NST City.

The first professional London production in over 40 years of Magnificence, the seminal 1973 play by revered British dramatist Howard Brenton, runs at the Finborough Theatre for a strictly limited four week season from Tuesday, 25 October 2016 (Press Nights: Thursday, 27 October and Friday, 28 October 2016 at 7.30pm).

Up first is an updated edition 48 HOURS: "Live to Tell - An Officer and a Hero," (9:00 PM, ET/PT) which revolves around the harrowing robbery-turned-home invasion story that left off-duty St. Louis police officer Isabella Lovadina grievously wounded, her boyfriend with a bullet in his throat, and one woman dead.
