Growing up on a pig farm in rural Illinois, Whitney spent more time dreaming of bright lights and big stages than mucking stalls (much to her family’s dismay). Her life changed forever at 5 years old when she saw a stunning production of The Lion King and decided, “Yep, that’s the life for me!” She honed her craft at Western Illinois University, learning how to bring big, bold characters to life — and make audiences laugh, cry, and cheer along the way.
Her favorite credits include Magenta in The Rocky Horror Show (Live), Lucy in Avenue Q, Carol Strong in Catch Me If You Can, Rosina in A Bronx Tale, Gussie in Merrily We Roll Along, Jane Eyre in Jane Eyre, Clarice in Rudolph the Red-Hosed Reindeer (a parody), and Jan in Grease. She also toured twice with Missoula Children’s Theatre, bringing the magic of theatre to kids across the country.
When she’s not on stage, Whitney loves striking a yoga pose, tumbling through life (literally — she’s a gymnast), obsessing over RuPaul’s Drag Race, and spoiling her husband Chris and their bulldog Beau. Equal parts bubbly and bold, she’s always ready to take on the next adventure, one fabulous role at a time!
