Now in their 13th year, these awards honor outstanding trustees of U.S. opera companies for their exemplary leadership and generosity on behalf of their respective organizations. OPERA America's Professional Company Members are invited each year to nominate one of their trustees for this award.

Players' Ring Premieres Adaptation of A CHRISTMAS CAROL
As a holiday tradition, Christopher Savage of Exeter and his family sit around the dinner table each year reading aloud from "A Christmas Carol," the iconic tale by Charles Dickens. It is no wonder, then, that when the Player's Ring asked Savage to write an adaptation of this emotional holiday story, he chose to incorporate more language from the 19th Century British author.

Megan Hilty to Host KC SuperStar 2017 Finals; Auditions Continue This Weekend!
Auditions for KC SuperStar 2017, Kansas City's high school singing competition ala 'American Idol/The Voice,' have been set for Wednesday, March 30, 4-8:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 2, 1-5 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City (The J), 5801 W. 115th St., Overland Park, KS. Singers only need to attend one audition for the competition, which is produced by The J. The final event will take place Sunday evening, Aug. 27, 2017.
