Lucas Hnath, Trevor Nunn, Noel Coward, and More Set For The Orange Tree Theatre's Upcoming Season
The Orange Tree (OT) has announced its first full year of programming under new Artistic Director Tom Littler. It features world and European premieres by Zoe Cooper and Lucas Hnath; revivals from Mustapha Matura, Noël Coward and Oliver Goldsmith; directors including Trevor Nunn and Matthew Dunster; and Niamh Cusack headlining the first major London revival of Polly Stenham's breakout hit That Face.
Stephanie Fleischmann Wins Second Annual Campbell Opera Librettist Prize
OPERA America is pleased to announce the selection of Stephanie Fleischmann as the 2022 Campbell Opera Librettist Prize recipient. Conceived and funded by acclaimed librettist and lyricist Mark Campbell, the Prize is the first award in the history of American opera created specifically to honor the work of opera librettists, and comes with a $7,000 award to support the winner’s creative and career development.

?WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced casting and creative team details for the regional premiere of Dan LeFranc's The Big Meal, directed by Emily Scott Banks. With Elinor Cook's Image of an Unknown Young Woman about to open at the Gate, Artistic Director Christopher Haydon today announces the full company for his production of the UK premiere of Lucas Hnath's The Christians - William Gaminara (Pastor), Jaye Griffiths (Pastor's Wife), Stefan Adegbola (Associate Pastor), Lucy Ellinson (Congregant) and David Calvitto (Elder). Also announced today, ahead of performances at the Gate Theatre, the production plays at the Traverse as part of this year's Edinburgh Festival from 3 to 30 August.
