For the 10th consecutive season, Carnegie Hall and WQXR will unite to present Carnegie Hall Live, a series of exciting broadcast concerts—drawing upon some of the finest live performances from Carnegie Hall’s stages over the past nine years—in programs that are thematically reimagined and newly produced. The Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) continues its long-standing partnership with WWFM – The Classical Network (89.1FM) with a special PSO Festival of Music consisting of curated performances from the PSO archives, and broadcast over three successive Fridays, November 6, 13, and 20, at 8pm.

Women Composers Commissions Announced
Composers Niloufar Iravani, Leanna Primiani, and Hilary Purrington will each receive orchestral commissions of $15,000 as part of the Women Composers Readings and Commissions program, an initiative of the League of American Orchestras, in partnership with American Composers Orchestra (ACO) and supported by the Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation.

Together, the Beethoven celebration features more than 70 programs, creating an extraordinary view of this revolutionary composer.

As the 250th anniversary year of Beethoven's birth approaches, Carnegie Hall announces a wider schedule of partner events by leading cultural institutions, complementing the Hall's programming as part of its Beethoven Celebration which includes an unprecedented range of performances by renowned artists exploring the composer's works and his transformative impact on music. The Beethoven Celebration presents one of the largest explorations of the great master's music in our time and marks the largest-ever exploration of one composer by Carnegie Hall, with 86 works of music performed by more than 58 artists and ensembles in New York City and beyond from January through June 2020.

At Sunday's All Mozart concert, the Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) saluted ten years with Maestro Rossen Milanov at the helm by announcing the public phase of The Next 10! - a campaign celebrating Milanov's 10th anniversary while building a dynamic future for the orchestra. Funds raised through the campaign will support the PSO's current and future initiatives as it continues to move forward as an integral, innovative presence on Princeton's arts scene.
