Donna McKechnie Brings Cabaret Show to Martinis Above Fourth
Tony Award winner, Donna McKechnie's new show, Same Place: Another Time, is a musical deja vu celebrating the scintillating 70's in New York City - the heyday of Studio 54. The journey she takes puts a personal spin on the "ingenue" coming to New York, finding love and success, losing her innocence along the way, perhaps, but never her spirit. It is beautifully illuminated by the music of Irving Berlin, Stephen Sondheim, Marvin Hamlisch, Peter Allen, Jim Croce and Leroy Anderson.

Wareham are thrilled to present screen legend Leslie Caron, in her first Southern California theatrical performance in over 25 years! SIX DANCE LESSONS IN SIX WEEKS, written by Richard Alfieri, with choreography by Donna McKechnie (A Chorus Line) and directed by Michael Arabian (Waiting for Godot). SIX DANCE LESSONS IN SIX WEEKS will also feature 6-time Ovation Award-winning actor David Engel. Tony-winning choreographer/director Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots) was Donna's Very Special Guest for the evening, with singers Nick Adams and Nikki MacCallum singing songs from Mitchell's hit shows. Donna and Jerry discussed life, love, careers and even ended the evening with a good, old-fashioned soft-shoe, after Mitchell demonstrated his most successful audition tune, 'I Love A Piano!'
