Ward G. Smith is an Actor, Stand Up Comedian and Voice-Over Artist, most recently seen on television's Zoo, Nashville, Let's Stay Together, Burn Notice and Army Wives. He has been working steadily for the past 30 years starting with USO shows while in the US ARMY. The many aspects of his talents have been utilized in phases over that time. In 1985, a chance audition in NYC saw him moving there to study the craft of acting at the HB Studios with the legendary Uta Hagen and William Hickey. Scoring ZERO work as an actor, it was stand-up that paid the rent and put food in his gut.
The massive national touring in the 80's (7 years on the road) saw him share the stage with the likes of David Spade, Adam Sandler, Pat Paulson, Ron White and Larry the Cable Guy to name a fraction of the well-known acts he's appeared with. Think of it this way: Any person who IS a big name, Ward has either picked them up from the airport, or picked them up off the floor.
