October 27, 2014: knees and toes/NYs and TOs Edition 2014, presented by TOES for dance in collaboration with presenting sponsor mindyourmind*, will showcase a mixed program of contemporary dance by established and new generation choreographers from around the world, under the direction of David Norsworthy and Kristen Carcone. TOES for dance kickstarted the season on October 4th with, for the second year in a row, a sold out showing in New York City. The Ontario Touring Production begins November 8th and runs until November 16th with shows in Mississauga, Waterloo, Vaughan and Toronto, and features dance artists from New York City and Toronto.

From tonight to Saturday, April 2-6, 2013, The Kitchen presents the New York premiere of choreographer Camille A. Brown's Mr.TOL E. RAncE. Inspired by Spike Lee's controversial film Bamboozled and Mel Watkins' book On The Real Side: Laughing, Lying, And Signifying - The Underground Tradition of African American Humor that Transformed American Culture, from Slavery to Chris Rock, Brown's ensemble piece celebrates the humor and perseverance of the black performer while examining the stereotypes that persist in popular black culture.
Mr. TOL E. RancE is performed by Brown and her company: Juel D. Lane, Mayte Natalio, Waldean Nelson, Mora-Amina Parker, Willie 'Tre' Smith III and KeonThoulouis, and features original music, which will be played live by Scott Patterson.

On Our Toes in the Hamptons, the annual performance and fundraising gala featuring Ronald K. Brown's Evidence, A Dance Company one of the world's most acclaimed dance troupes, returned to the Hamptons for the seventh year to celebrate its 25th anniversary & honor longtime supporters Prince Kunle Omilana of Nigeria & his American born wife Princess Keisha Omilana at the Hamptons estate of The Honorable Bernard H. Jackson and his wife Joyce Mullins-Jackson.

Last Night, February 8, the stars came out to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Evidence, A Dance Company, at the Grace in Winter Silver Ball at The Plaza Hotel. The event honored Evidence Founder & Artistic Director Ronald K. Brown and Evidence Chairman, Reginald Van Lee. Victoria Rowell hosted the event, which featured cocktails and an online auction, in addition to performances by Evidence Dance and former Dreamgirl Jennifer Holliday.
