MISS BENNET: CHRISTMAS AT PEMBERLY Will Be Coming to the Long Beach Playhouse
'Welcome to the Pemberley Estate where the family is gathered for the Christmas holiday. There is joy, jealousy, love notes and juxtaposition of the Bennet sister's agendas. Mary Bennet yearns for her place in this world. Is it to be found in music, books or maps? Is it a solitary and invisible life to be hidden between pages and musical refrains? Will she ever find someone who understands her for what she truly is?' These are the words of Phyllis Gitlin, director of Miss Bennet: Christmas as Pemberley describing the storyline.

Out of more than 2,000 submissions from 40 countries worldwide, Lisa Gorham Creative's illustration of composer George Friderik Handel was awarded a Gold Muse in the 2018 International Muse Creative Awards competition. The illustration was done for Catoctin Breeze Vineyard, located in Thurmont, Maryland, for their Oratorio Barbera wine, as part of their composer wine series.

Florida Repertory Theatre announced Harmonic Collage, its annual benefit concert given by Emmy Award-winning and Grammy Nominated flutist & composer, Kat Epple.

The concert will feature Epple on a number of different flutes - flutes from around the world, including Celtic, Native American, African, Suling, and bass flute. Epple will be joined by special guest musicians and performers, including Chuck Grinnell on keyboard, DL Turner on the harp, Darrell Nutt on percussion, Shirley Lorene on guitar and vocals, Pond Water Experiment, Ray Nesbit, Lawrence Voytek, Nicole Long and a few other surprise guest performers.
