RDT Welcomes Kareem Lewis For 2020-2021 Season
Amidst cancelation of shows for the remainder of the 2020 season, Repertory Dance Theatre has introduced the newest member that will join the troupe for the 2020-2021 season. Repertory Dance Theatre, the nation's premiere modern dance repertory company will begin its 55th season on July 1. The Company welcomes Kareem Lewis after the departure of senior male, Tyler Orcutt.

This weekend at Veterans Memorial Auditorium, the Festival Ballet Providence danced MIRRORS, which is really three short modern ballets- 1934's 'Serenade' with music by Tchaikovsky and choreography by George Ballentine; 'Coma' with music by Arvo Part and choreography by Viktor Plotnikov from 2007; and 'Smoke and Mirrors' from 2016 with music by Lucas Vidal and choreography by Yury Yanowsky. Festival Ballet Theatre Announces An Exciting New Season
Festival Ballet Theatre (FBT), Orange County's resident professional ballet company, is pleased to announce its 2018-2019 season. This year marks the company's 30th anniversary and is proud to present a repertory of innovative contemporary works and acclaimed classical ballets. The season starts with Ovation, a conceptual tour de force in three pieces by contemporary choreographers on October 13 and 14, followed by The Nutcracker from December 8 to 24, Sleeping Beauty on March 23 and 24, concluding with Gala of the Stars in August 2019 (venue to be announced).
Festival Ballet Providence School Year Begins With New Director
Festival Ballet Providence School has begun its 2018-2019 academic year and entered a new chapter in its history with Vilia Putrius as its new director. A leading dancer with Festival Ballet Providence for 11 seasons, Putrius was appointed School Director last month, taking over for Mary Ann Mayer who stepped down to pursue another opportunity in dance education.
