First Ever FRESH GROUND PEPPER FESTIVAL Announced in NYC
Fresh Ground Pepper (FGP), a New York City based arts incubator in its 10th season of instigating and presenting new work, is proud to announce its first ever multi-week emerging arts festival at The New Ohio Theatre from April 10 through 21, 2018. The inaugural FGP Festival will present art parties, new works-in-progress, and workshop productions that span genre, form, and interactivity, including new works of performance, visual art, comedy, music, immersive theatre, board gaming, and literature.

Salty Brine's Spectacular Living Record Collection Cabaret, which performs on Wednesdays as part of Brine's residency at The Red Room (85 E. 4th St.), explores a different iconic album each month in a live cabaret setting.
Shaun Taylor-Corbett to Star in Native Voices at the Autry's OFF THE RAILS
Continuing its role as the only Equity theatre company dedicated to developing new work by Native American artists, Native Voices at the Autry presents OFF THE RAILS by Randy Reinholz (Choctaw*), starring Shaun Taylor-Corbett. A bawdy and irreverent adaptation of Shakespeare's Measure for Measure set in Buffalo Bill's Wild West, the production is presented as part of Native Voices at the Autry's 2014-2015 season, themed 'Legacy and Loss: Stories From the Indian Boarding School.'
Bilingual Play THE LONG ROAD/EL LARGO CAMINO DE HOY Opens Tonight
Two years ago, with funding from The James Irvine Foundation and in partnership with Latino Health Access, South Coast Repertory launched a play-development project in Santa Ana called Dialogue/Dialogos. The project captured the stories and memories of nearly 1,000 of the city's Latino residents, which created the core of a new bilingual play, The Long Road Today/El Largo Camino de Hoy,written by Jose Cruz Gonzalez.
