ACT (A Contemporary Theatre) of Connecticut has announced the cast for the first production of their 2022-2023 season – GUYS AND DOLLS. The show marks the start to the theater's fifth season.

Hawaii Student Makes History At Poetry Out Loud National Finals
High school students from across the nation competed in the national finals of the 13th Poetry Out Loud: National Recitation Contest in Washington D.C. Returning Hawaii State champion, Nicholas Amador (12th grade), of Punahou School placed 2nd in the national finals and was awarded $10,000 from the National Endowment for the Arts. Nicholas represented the state at the national finals in Washington, DC and took 3rd place in 2016 and 2nd place in 2017. He is the only student to ever place in the top three more than once at the national finals. Nicholas performed: Snow Day by Billy Collins, Two Guitars by Victor Hernandez Cruz, and The New Colossus by Emma Lazarus.

Dozens of Broadway and music celebs joined Leslie Becker last Thursday at The Vanity in NYC for the celebration of her debut single release SLOW BURN. Guests were treated to a live performance by Leslie which included 'Slow Burn' and the first performance of her new single 'Confidential,' featuring dancers Timothy Wilson and Anthony Alfaro. Intimations Dance Brings New Work to Aeronaut Brewing Company Tonight
?Intimations Dance will install new dance work at Aeronaut Brewing Company, a craft brewery and foods hub in Somerville, MA, for an evening of performance to celebrate the culmination of Boston's National Choreography Month. Several creative collaborators join Intimations Dance for the brewery takeover: local dance company Paradise Lost; independent choreographers Michael Figueroa, Sarah Mae Gibbons, and Wisty Andres; a cohort of live musicians from Berklee College of Music; and VJs and local DJ Univer-AL. The performance takes place tonight, January 31, 2015, 6 pm–12 am.
