Vickie Tanner, Actor/Writer/Producer
Vickie Tanner received a BFA in Theatre from CSU, Long Beach and studied Meisner with Maggie Flanigan in NYC. Among her theatre credits are STOMP (Orpheum Theatre, National and European Tours); TANTALUS, Denver Center Theatre and British tour the RSC, written by John Barton, directors: Ed Hall and Sir Peter Hall, TWO DAYS, Long Wharf Theatre, by Donald Margulies, director: Lisa Peterson, and THAT DAMN DYKSTRA at Access Theatre director: Margarett Dykstra. She has performed her solo play, RUNNING INTO ME , in New York at 59E59 Street Theaters, La Mama, Cherry Lane Studio Theatre, Nuyorican Poet’s Cafe, Queens Theatre in the Park, Dixon Place Theatre, the United Solo Festival 2011 & 2012 and NuBox Theatre, in Los Angeles at Whitefire Theatre and at Edinburg Fringe Festival, Underbelly, Cowgate. Directors: Padraic Lillis and Bruce McCarty. Her film credits include Acts of Worship, Drop Back Ten, No Way Out and The Apology. Television: NYPD Blue, STOMP Out Loud, Wonderland (recurring - writer/dir. Peter Berg), Law and Order SVU, One Life to Live and Mercy. Vickie is currently writing and producing a new web series: One Cuckoo Flew Over the Rest and is set to shoot a new Joseph Craig feature film, The Stars, the Moon and Everything, in March.

On theme, a special screening of Alyson Cornyn's documentary Incorrigibles will take place January 24, followed by a panel discussion. The She Stands Alone series brings audiences on a roller coaster ride of tragedy, triumphs, grace, and coming of age despite unbelievable circumstances.

Vickie Tanner's RUNNING INTO ME to Play The NuBox Theatre, 3/29-30

The Farm Theater will present a special two-day presentation of Vickie Tanner's solo show, Running Into Me, directed by Padraic Lillis, on Tuesday, March 29 at 3pm and 7pm and Wednesday, March 30 at 7pm at The NuBox Theatre at the John DeSotelle Studio (300 West 43rd Street, 3rd Floor). The Farm Theater Sets 2016 Season

The Farm Theater announces their 2016 season, which will include six new installments of the popular bi-monthly Bullpen Sessions, workshops on play development and auditing for grad school, the College Collaboration Project with playwright Micheline Auger at the University of West Florida and Centre College in KY, the Barnstorming Project with playwright Christopher Gabriel Núñez and the Maryland Area Community College Performing Arts Collective, and World Premiere plays by Vickie Tanner and Lindsay Joy.

Rattlestick Playwrights and LaiLou Productions have announced that the world premiere of Shesh Yak, written by Laith Nakli and directed by Bruce McCarty, will begin previews Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place, west of Seventh Avenue South. The official opening night is set for Thursday, January 29, 2015. The production will play through Sunday, February 22, 2015.
