Veronica Falcón was born in Mexico City. She is considered one of Mexico's most versatile & prestigious actors, as well as an outstanding choreographer. For over three decades she's had a remarkable career in television, film and stage, in Mexico & abroad.
In 2015, she relocated to the US and within months she was cast as "Camila Vargas" in the hit television series "Queen of the South, she quickly became a fan favorite.
Some of her latest credits are: "Ozark" opposite to Laura Linney, Julia Garner & Jason Bateman. Disney's "Jungle Cruise" where she played "Trader Sam" next to Dwayne Johnson & Emily Blunt. HBO's "Perry Mason" as "Lupe Gibbs" opposite to Matthew Rhys. "A million miles away" with Michael Peña, "Aristotle and Dante Discover the secrets of the Universe" produced by Lynn Manuel Miranda, Steven Conrad's critically acclaimed "Perpetual Grace Ltd" where she played "Clara" opposite to Sir Ben Kingsley & Jackie Weaver. Other credits include Marc Cherry's "Why Women Kill" 2, HBO's "Room 104" written by the Duplass Brothers, Marvel's "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier", Joseph Gordon-Levitt's "Mr. Corman", Ted Melfi's "The Starling", Neil Burger's "Voyagers" and "The Forever Purge" Other credits in the Latam market include: the critically acclaimed "Days of Grace", HBO's "Sr. Avila", "Sugar Kisses" produced by Oscar Nominee Carlos Cuaron. Veronica was nominated for a "Diosa de Plata" for her work in that film.
For many years Veronica was the artistic Director of an independent theater company that she originated with her then husband, they were based in Berlin. As a choreographer Ms. Falcón worked several times with Mexico's National Opera, her choreography of Mozart's "Don Giovanni" is still regarded as one of the most original works ever created for the Company. She also worked in this capacity for countless productions for stage and television in Mexico & abroad and choreographed many of the top Pop stars in the Latinx music industry of the nineties.
In 2013 Veronica got a grant as a playwright competing with over two hundred and fifty authors.The grant was part of the Global Micro-theater project and her play went on to have two successful runs. Veronica is part of UCLA's Writers Certificate program. She's developing a limited television series. This winter Veronica will do her New York stage debut performing with The Redbull Theater Company under the direction of Jesse Berger.
At age fifteen, Ms. Falcón was awarded a Teacher's Degree in English, she is fluent in German & French as well. From 1998 - 2022 she was married to Polish actor-director Marius Biegai. They remain close friends and have a son together: Lucca. Veronica lives in Los Angeles, California
