Williamston Theatre Announces Giving Tuesday Event
Over the past several years, Giving Tuesday has evolved into a national effort to raise money for worthy causes in communities across the country. This year, the Williamston Theatre is honoring the support of its donors by presenting a full season's worth of play readings, all day long. On Tuesday, November 28 the Williamston Theatre will hold a marathon of staged readings of six plays. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are welcomed to attend all or individual readings. Gracie's Contemporary Bistro in Williamston is a sponsor of the event.

Michigan Shakespeare Festival Announces Cast for October 28th's ICHABOD
Lansing - The Michigan Shakespeare Festival is thrilled to announce an All-Star Michigan Cast for the ICHABOD, a new play by accomplished playwright Joseph Zettelmaier. The reading will take place at 3 pm on Saturday, October 28, at the Library of Michigan in Lansing. The events of ICHABOD take place in a tiny tavern just outside the village of Sleepy Hollow. Twenty years earlier, the titular Ichabod had an encounter with the Headless Horseman and he has at last returned to the town that cast him out.
