Jeffrey Foucault to Release New Album 'The Universal Fire;' Shares Title Track
On September 6, Jeffrey Foucault will release The Universal Fire, his first album of entirely new material since 2018. A series of high-voltage performances captured live in one room, the album is a kind of working wake – Foucault lost his best friend and drummer, Billy Conway, to cancer in 2021 – as well as a meditation on the nature of beauty, artifact, and loss. Listen to the title track now!

Peel Dream Magazine has announced its summer tour plans, including ten dates supporting Wild Nothing, hitting the south, midwest, Canada and the east coast, as well as three headline dates in Denton, Atlanta and Austin. Tickets for all shows are on sale now.

'Yankee Reaper' suggests some sort of cosmic mashup between T.Rex and the White Album sessions. Ghost Party is joined by pedal steel master Will Van Horn, notable for his contributions to Khruangbin and Leon Bridges' latest collaborative EPs. Ghost Party is the nostalgic, retro psych revival project of McCullough Ferguson.

DUBLIN band Bell X1 have a new single & video “The Lobster” out now. The video directed by Allyn Quigley features Irish Actors Liz Fitzgibbon and Kieran Roche and, like the track, takes its cues from Jean Paul Sartre’s infamously bad mescaline trip in the 1930’s. The video was filmed on Dublin’s Waterloo Road.
