Ballet Hispanico Registration Deadline is Approaching!
Society for the Performing Arts presents the 2017 Ballet Hispanico Summer Dance Intensive June 6-16 at Episcopal High School, with registration from now through May 18. The intensive experience is designed to serve the needs of emerging dancers in the Houston community and supports a 360-degree approach to the development of the dancer. It has been curated to satisfy the cultivation of technique, versatility in fusion of forms and disciplines, and the education of both the dancers and their families to understand how to navigate a dancer's life.

Alley Theatre Artistic Director Gregory Boyd announces the cast and creative team for Alan Ayckbourn's science fiction comedy Communicating Doors. Eleven plays penned by Alan Ayckbourn have been produced by the Alley, including the American premiere of Henceforward, directed by Ayckbourn, in 1987 and House & Garden in 2002. Alan Ayckbourn has been inducted into the American Theatre's Hall of Fame, received the 2010 Critics' Circle Award for Services to the Arts, became the first British playwright to receive both Olivier and Tony Special Lifetime Achievement Awards and was knighted in 1997 for services to the theatre.

Jump For Joy Productions presents Adam Bock’s comedy The Drunken City, directed by Misti B. Wills (In Search of Euphoria, New World Stages). The Drunken City will play a limited engagement at The WorkShop Theatre’s Mainstage (312 West 36th Street, between 8th and 9th Ave.). Performances begin tonight, November 30th (8 p.m.) and continue through Sunday December 16th (2 p.m.).
