"In Between Gods and Kings, our performers fuse theater and nightlife and take off-broadway to the next level-I guarantee it's like nothing you've been to before. The best way to experience it is at the bar with a drink in your hand, while an ancient Greek tragedy unfolds around you in rock-n-roll 360," said the show's executive producer Taylor Shubert, responsible for much of the show's dynamic staging, "I was so thrilled to finally share what we created with the world at opening night last Thursday, and I can't wait to see you there soon!"

The immersive and energetic production began its weekly party-like run at BEDLAM BAR (40 Avenue C) in the East Village last night. It will play every Thursday at 10pm until May 9. DirectorFest takes place at various locations around NYC: New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher Street), The Drama League Theater Center (32 Avenue of the Americas), LaGuardia Performing Arts Center (31-10 Thompson Avenue, Long Island City), and Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street). The Micro-Musical Theatre Show's new production of the micro-musical TRAPPED IN THE CLOSET featuring Earphones Award winner, and audiobook narrator Sarah Naughton, and Golden Key Composition Competition winner Jake Weinstein. TRAPPED IN THE CLOSET is performed by Sarah Naughton (Book and Lyrics) and Jake Weinstein (Music and Lyrics). Also performing on the recording Jake Weinstein on piano, is Will Melones on bass guitar and Tristan Marzeski on drums and drums and percussion.
