Greenway Court Theatre Celebrates 20th Anniversary With IF I SHOULD WAKE
Greenway Arts Alliance announced today that Greenway Court Theatre is celebrating its 20th Anniversary Season. The award-winning and critically-acclaimed theatre will present the World Premiere of IF I SHOULD WAKE, a collection of eight monologues by an intrepid ensemble of contemporary playwrights representing the wide diversity of Greenway Court Theatre's many communities.

Hulu Presents Upcoming Original Series WOKE, NO MAN'S LAND, and PEN15 At The 2020 Hulu Press Tour
Today, during the Hulu Press Tour, Hulu presented the company's lineup of upcoming original programming including semi-animated comedy series Woke starring Lamorne Morris; No Man's Land, the dramatic tale of the Syrian civil war; and the second season of Pen15, a middle school comedy set in the early 2000s starring Anna Konkle and Maya Erskine. The three Hulu Originals showcased today will join the company's growing slate of premium Original content, following a successful year of back-to-back new hits such as Little Fires Everywhere, Palm Springs, Solar Opposites, The Great, Normal People and more.

The Los Angeles premiere of Lloyd Suh's THE CHINESE LADY launches the Greenway Court Theatre's 2019-2020 season, with opening night September 7, 2019. In a co-production with Artists At Play, THE CHINESE LADY (based on a true story) features Amy Shu (as Afong Moy, the first female Chinese immigrant to come to America) and Trieu Tran (as Atung, Afong's translator/caretaker), under the direction of Rebecca Wear. Playwright Lloyd Suh took a few moments before flying into Los Angeles to answer my questioning queries.
