Rachelle Ann Go, who originated the role of Eliza in the smash hit 'Hamilton' in the West End, will also play the same role when 'Hamilton' runs in The Lion City. Part of 'Hamilton’s' first-ever international tour, the production premieres at the Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands, on April 19, 2024.

June 22nd through July 10th, The Bushnell is The Room Where It Happens. On Tuesday evening, I had the pleasure of seeing the Hamilton National Tour alongside a fully packed house of diehard fans, who bopped along in their seats with delight and delivered a well-deserved standing ovation. I know it’s cliché to say Hamilton is excellent, but it’s excellent.
BlakTinX Series ignites Fall Season at BAAD

The Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance kicks off its fall season with the BlakTinX Performance Series from September 25 to November 23, 2019. This annual multidisciplinary festival inaugurated in 2002 celebrates art and performance by Black, Latinx and artists of color. The festival opens with the prolific choreographer Maria Bauman-Morales (formerly of Urban Bush Women) and features premiere dance works by contemporary choreographers.BAAD! is located in a neo gothic style building at 2474 Westchester Avenue. New Musical, LET THERE BE LIGHT Wins New York Theatre Festival's Summerfest 2018

The New York Theatre Festival selected 120 productions for their Summerfest Competition this year which was held from July 11th through October 4th, 2018 at The Hudson Guild Theater. On October 9th, the awards ceremony took place. LET THERE BE LIGHT, a new musical with Book, Music, and Lyrics by Brianna Barnes, took home the top prize of BEST MUSICAL/PLAY and won $3,500. LET THERE BE LIGHT also won BEST SCORE, and received three Best Singer nominations (Lou Steele*, Tommy McDowell,* and Brianna Barnes) as well as a Best Actress nomination (Calli McRae).
