Tikets to EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL at City Theatre on Sale Friday
The hilariously, bloody tradition continues this fall as Evil Dead: The Musical returns for its seventh season performing at the City Theatre; presented by The Ringwald and Olympia Entertainment. A talented pack of local cast members, new and returning, will rise to bring the familiar tale to life with a five week engagement starting Thursday, September 29 through Saturday, October 29 at the City Theatre.
The Theatre Company & Matrix Theatre Company to Stage Midwest Premiere of LOW HANGING FRUIT
?The Theatre Company of University of Detroit Mercy and Matrix Theatre Company announce their first joint production of the Midwest premiere of Robin Bradford's "Low Hanging Fruit." Performances will be held at The Marlene Boll Theatre at the Boll Family Y.M.C.A. March 3 through 20, 2016. The production is a part of a larger initiative to raise awareness and support for female homeless veterans in the Metro Detroit area.
Papa Weeze & The Ringwald's Theatre Lab to Host Second Workshop, 2/20
?he Ringwald and Papa Weeze have partnered to offer a local arts academy, dubbed "Theatre Lab." After a successful first workshop held on February 6, the collaboration will present their second on February 20, 2016 from 11 AM to 3 PM. Cost to attend is $60 per student per workshop.

Water Works Theatre Company Sets 15th Annual Shakespeare Royal Oak Events
Shakespeare Royal Oak's 3rd Show: Romeo And Juliet August 7-8 (ROYAL OAK MI) Water Works Theatre Company announces the schedule and casts for its 15th annual outdoor summer theatre festival, Shakespeare Royal Oak. The festival begins July 27 in Royal Oak's Starr Jaycee Park and continues through Sunday, August 9.
