TRAVIS JOHNS: (ACTOR, WRITER, DIRECTOR, PRODUCER)
Travis is a graduate of Wake Forest University, where he received a full athletic scholarship to play football. After a career ending injury, Travis won a prestigious scholarship to study abroad in London, England.
Upon returning to the states, Travis, naturally, became a fly-fishing guide in Montana, where his love for writing and story-telling blossomed while catching trout, riding horses, hiking mountains, and working as a ranch hand.
On a whim and with no experience, Travis moved to Los Angeles, and for the past twenty-five years he’s made his living as an actor, director, novelist, and screenwriter, with multiple screenplays being optioned by the likes of Kim Zubick (The Zookeeper’s Wife, Togo) and Alan Ladd, Jr.(Bravheart, Gone Baby Gone).
Travis has also written, directed, and produced two short films, including “3,650 Days” which was a festival hit that was shot by Reed Morano (Emmy winner “The Handmaid’s Tale).
As a character actor, he has appeared in over 80 films, television shows and plays. Currently, Travis is starring as Boo Radley in the first National Broadway Tour of “To Kill A Mockingbird,” written by Aaron Sorkin and directed by Bartlett Sher.
