Imagination Stage, the metro DC region's largest professional theatre for children, will welcome audiences celebrating Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Kwanza, Christmas, and New Years to the omni-festive musical Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed: the Rock Experience, based on Mo Willems' best-selling 2009 picture book Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed. The show runs November 16 - January 8 and is best for ages 4+.

The musical is an adaption of the classic Pinocchio tale, though instead of puppets and doll-makers, the piece follows P.Nokio, a video game character come to life, and his programmer father, G. Flow, which saw its second production, in 2004, at Studio Theatre, is back!
Part of Studio Theatre’s first digital season and more specifically featuring a trio of eclectic solo performances, Flow might be called a mixed metaphor. It blends the old West African tradition of griot — an oral tradition combining a historian, storyteller, praise singer, poet, and musician — with seven storytellers of an urban community presumably in the States.
