NALAC Fund for the Arts and Flamboyan Arts Fund Present Awards to Sixteen Puerto Rico-Based Artists

The National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures (NALAC)  has announced the 2023 grant awards for the Flamboyan Artist Fellowship. Sixteen Puerto Rico-based artists will receive grants of $5,000 to support artist creativity and cultural preservation. The awards are made possible through a partnership between the NALAC Fund for the Arts (NFA)  grant program and the Flamboyan Arts Fund.
WAR HORSE Debuts in Hong Kong; Show Runs Now Thru June 2

WAR HORSE, the unforgettable theatrical event from the National Theatre of Great Britain, producers of the smash-hit production of "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time," made its debut at the Lyric Theatre, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, with a star-studded gala premiere held Saturday, May 11. The gala night audience included invited VIPs, show sponsors, and a host of local celebrities such as Cecil Chao, Gigi Chao, Stephen Chan, Ankie Beilke, Vincci Cheuk, Sabrina Leung, Bianca Wu, Cheung Tat-Ming, Geoff Wong, Cecilia Yip, Rita Carpio, and Tony Cruz.

Ha fallecido el actor cantante Tony Cruz, conocido por formar parte de grandes musicales como Jesucristo Superstar, en el papel de Pilatos, dirigido por Jaime Azpilicueta; Evita, donde interpretó al Che, junto a Paloma San Basilio; Francisco de Goya, en la Maja de Goya; o Sweeney Todd, dirigido por Mario Gas.
