BWW Review: A DOLL'S HOUSE PART 2 at Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati

Hnath systematically sets out to prove that humans are selfish as each character tries to manipulate the others with long speeches. A meek and wounded Torvald (no match for the fiery and powerful feminist), risks everything to give Nora what she wants (only after being pushed to the brink), and it's too little too late.

BWW Review: A Sublime Cast Shines in Tony Award Winning Play, THE HUMANS, at Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati

In Stephen Karam's fast-paced, skillfully wrought horror/drama, The Humans, Frankenstein's monster is replaced with what truly terrifies Americans in 2018--not having enough money for retirement! Ok. So, that might sound silly, but I assure you, it sent a chill down my spine.

BWW Reviews: Repertory Theatre of St. Louis Opens Season with YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU

George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart's classic play, YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU, has been given a wonderfully performed and staged presentation by the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis. This venerable favorite is brought to life in splendid fashion, with a superb cast proving that Kaufman and Hart's punchlines still hold up over 70 after the fact, and that some of the them, especially those regarding the ways in which our government spends our tax dollars, still ring resoundingly true and clear today.
