Tony Andrea received his Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Connecticut.
He is a scenic designer for over a decade and is a current member of United Scenic Artist Local 829. His designs have been seen on school and regional stages. He was a long time assistant (over 50 shows) at Papermill Playhouse NJ, and has assisted on several Broadway and regional productions. Tony’s MFA thesis of The Miser was recognized by the USITT and was exhibited in the 1999 Prague Quadrennial in the Professional Categories. It was also featured in Theatre Design & Technology and received a Connecticut Critic Circle award for Outstanding Set Design. Tony is a model maker for the American Museum of Natural History and has made the model for the long running Broadway show Chicago.
