The first production from Leicester's newly re-opened Haymarket Theatre will be the world premiere of Treasure Island, penned by national treasure and established author Sandi Toksvig (The Great British Bake Off, QI).

Examining complex questions of forgiveness and abuses of power following a chance meeting between Patrick, a Hollywood screenwriter, and Conrad, an older Catholic priest. Set in a hotel room overlooking the Piazza De Spagna in 1990's Rome, the play charts their tense, frank exchange over the course of one evening, as it becomes clear that at least one of them is holding back a confession

The King's Head Theatre today announces that it will stage the long-awaited UK Premiere of For Reasons That Remain Unclear by Mart Crowley, author of the groundbreaking international hit The Boys in the Band, as the headline production of its 2018 Queer Season this summer.

Producer Tom O'Connell Set To Join Mark Goucher Productions
Mark Goucher Productions has today agreed a new deal that will see Tom O'Connell join Mark Goucher Productions as Producer. Tom O'Connell produced the recent hit production of Joe Orton's Loot at The Park Theatre, Mart Crowley's The Boys in the Band starring Mark Gatiss at the Vaudeville/Park Theatre/UK Tour, along with the twentieth anniversary production of Jonathan Harvey's Beautiful Thing starring Suranne Jones, amongst many others. O'Connell has a number of high profile productions in development that will now be produced out of Mark Goucher Productions.
