The play, by Agatha Christie and Gerald Verner, premiered in the West End at the St. James's Theatre in September, 1956.  Her novels have sold more than 2 billion copies around the world, and she is only outsold by the Bible and Shakespeare.

New theatre company Not Right Productions presents Unnecessary Farce, by Paul Slade Smith, directed by A.J. Ericson. Performances will be at Rover Dramawerks in Plano, located in Ruisseau Village at 221 W. Parker Rd, Suite 580, at the northwest corner of Parker and 75. Performances are June 7-16 on Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 7 is considered a preview performance.
